How we use your info

Last updated October 1, 2026

Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm is a family farm in Homer Glen, Illinois. The photos here are free, and this page explains in plain language what happens to your photo and to the phone number or email you use to send it to yourself.

Your photo

Photos taken at our photo spots are stored on farm computers, not with an outside photo service. Each photo has its own private web address made of random characters. Nobody can browse or guess their way to it, and we keep these pages out of search engines. Only the people you send it to can see it. We keep your photo so you can come back to it in later years. If you would like yours deleted, just ask.

Your phone number or email

We use it to send you your photo. That is the only reason we ask for it.

If you also tapped the optional box for farm news and deals, we use it to send you occasional updates during the season. You can reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email, and it stops right away.

Text messages

Your photo arrives by text from (708) 252-7522 when you ask for it at a photo spot. If you also tapped the optional box for texts, we may send farm deals, event news and a quick follow-up after your visit, up to about 2 texts a month during the season. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, or HELP for help. Full details are on our text message terms page.

We never sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text opt-in with anyone else for their marketing. Text opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

Return tickets and offers

If you buy reduced-price return tickets or another offer from your photo page, we collect your name and email. Your email may be entered on our page or on Square's secure checkout page, and Square shares it with us. We use them to find your tickets at the gate if you lose them and to contact you about your purchase. Square handles the payment on its own secure page, so we never see your card number, and Square sends you a receipt. At the gate, staff look at your photo to check that the tickets belong to the people in it. A person makes that check; no face-matching software is used.

Advertising

If you tapped an optional box for farm news and deals, we may send you our own offers. We may also use your email address to show you our ads on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and to help those platforms find other families like you. Phone numbers given at our photo spots are never given to advertising platforms or to anyone else. We never sell your information.

What we count

We keep simple counts of how many people open a photo page and which buttons get pressed. Those counts carry no names, numbers or addresses.
